First off I'd like to thank any and all of you who have taken the time to check out my blog. I would like to ask if my blog inspires you or you feel it could help and inspire others that you would share my blog with friends, family, and to your viewers as well.
I'd like to share with you my recovery story to give you a little background, what has happened since I've been home from the treatment center which I stayed for 34 days, and then where I'm at now. As I've already started my journey I would like you guys to see where I'm at now and what is to come. I have just now started the 12 step process and would like to share with you guys my journey through the 12 steps.
If you are worried you will not understand anything in my blog and that it could no way possible relate to you or do you any good by reading it I ask that you give it a chance. Take what you want and leave the rest. I will be going in depth in my post and making sure that you have the chance to see all that comes with recovery.
I am not in anyway sugar coating anything, I am a real person experiencing real pain, real beauty, real failure, and real success. I am not keeping my identity private because I am not ashamed of who I am, what I have failed at and what I have conquered like I said, I am real. This blog is real and raw. I'd like to share my identity with you so that you may feel more connected and see the personal attachment here.
I am offering my contact info so that I may help and educate others. If you have any questions or would like any information please do not hesitate to email me at hollyconger@ymail.com. I am available to answer your every curiosity and offer any help I can. Also, unless requested otherwise I will keep your questions and identity confidential.
*A note: I do believe in God and will mention my spirituality throughout my blog. If you do not share the same beliefs do not run away just yet. Just because I share a relationship with God does not mean I will pressure, or insist you do the same. Just like the 12 steps state "having a higher power". To everyone a higher power is different, your higher power could be a God you believe in, it could be nature, the universe or whatever else you believe.
Here's to a steep climb to a high mountain of success!
Read, enjoy, learn, and inspire!
Sincerely,
Holly Conger
